Material
This tapestry was made with a variety of secondhand yarn. The black base yarn is most likely acrylic, while the white and cobalt blue are cotton. The mustard yellow yarn is most likely a wool mix. The branch used to hang the tapestry was found in urban nature and cleaned by hand from any bark with a small knife.
Technique
The tapestry was woven on a simple frame loom. The warp is made up of a simple white cotton yarn. The grid pattern was woven by intersecting the black and white yarn. The white yarn runs behind the black squares of the grid and only appears on the front where the vertical lines of the grid are located. The blue triangle shape was woven in a different interlocking technique, where the different yarns intertwine at their meeting point. The fluffy yellow part consists of tiny pieces of yarn, individually knotted around the warp and finally trimmed to make a nice and even shape.
Styling
This abstract geometric tapestry is the perfect accent for all Bauhaus lovers and fans of abstract shapes. It fits perfectly into a modern living room or bedroom as a bold accent. Adding textile art works to your walls can also help with echo, especially in super minimalistic interiors.

Do not tumble dry or use bleach on any of them. If you feel the need to iron any of your items, use a low temperature and test carefully on one corner before going over the whole item.

We will always accept your Wasteless Wonders products back at the end of their life, so that we can recycle them in-house and use the materials once more for new products. If items are in a bad condition, they can always become fluffy pillow stuffing as a last resort, so don't hesitate to send anything back. We are striving to operate as circular and as zero waste as possible, that's why we care what happens to our products across their whole life cycle, until the very end.
